St Leonards. The majority of Dr Hartman’s patients choose to have their babies at the Mater Hospital North Sydney, as his consulting rooms are located on the Mater Hospital Campus, and he is able to attend the Delivery Suite at very short notice. However, North Shore Private Hospital St Leonards is close to his consulting rooms and Dr Hartman is very happy to accommodate women who choose to use North Shore Private. The Mater Hospital and North Shore Private Hospital both have excellent medical facilities and enjoy outstanding reputations for the quality of the care given by their experienced midwives, mothercraft nurses and lactation consultants. Both hospitals have very comfortable accommodation. Neither hospital has any shared rooms. There are a small number of larger “suites” with double beds available at each hospital, allowing partners to stay overnight if they wish. The Mater and North Shore Private Hospitals are extremely popular.
